Usually 2–4 hours under normal conditions. Open a few windows, run a ceiling fan if you have one, and try to stay off the carpet in shoes until it’s dry. In winter or in rooms with less airflow it can take a little longer — I’ll let you know on the day if anything’s likely to run over that.

A standard 3-bedroom home usually takes around 1 to 2 hours depending on the rooms being cleaned and their condition. I’ll give you a time estimate when you book so you can plan your day around it.

Once a year is the standard recommendation for most households. If you have pets, young kids, or high-traffic areas, every 6 months will keep things in better condition and extend the life of your carpet. Regular cleaning also protects your warranty with most carpet manufacturers.
